Fendi. Les Journées Particulières.

Pictures from November 2018. "Les journées particulières" was an exhibition that the brand Fendi did at their headquarter in Rome, at Colosseo Quadrato. I particularly liked this one  because it was different from others I've been to: it wasn't one of those exhibitions where you just see pieces of clothes and accessories displayed there for you just to admire; here you could see the actual artisans team that work for the brand, their craftmanship, the very long process that goes behind any small detail on any item they make. You could also interact with them and ask questions to fulfill any doubt or curiosity you had. 

After seeing all of the process (which can take even months!) behind the handmade bags, watches, dresses, you can kind of understand the prices that Fendi has for their products. 

Their exhibitions are completely free and usually they last a very long time so definitely keep an eye on the internet if you are planning to visit Rome in the future xx

 Foto di Novembre 2018. "Les journées particulières" è stata una mostra che ha fatto il brand Fendi all'interno del proprio quartier generale a Roma, all'interno del Colosseo Quadrato. Sono rimasta particolarmente colpita da questa qui perchè é stata diversa da altre a cui ho assistito: non era la classica mostra in cui si trovano tutti questi capi o accessori disposti in maniera tale che lo spettatore possa solamente ammirarli da lontano; qui c'era la possibilità di vedere i vari artigiani a servizio del brand in azione, le loro abilità, il lunghissimo processo che va dietro ogni piccolo dettaglio su un qualsiasi oggetto che creano. Inoltre, vi era la possibilità di interagire con loro e porre delle domande per soddisfare ogni dubbio o curiosità. 

Dopo aver visto l'intero processo (che può durare anche mesi!) che ci vuole alla creazione di una borsa, orologio, vestito fatti a mano, si può quasi arrivare a comprendere il perchè dei prezzi che Fendi ha per i suoi prodotti. 

Le loro mostre sono completamente gratuite e solitamente durano a lungo quindi decisamente date un'occhiate su internet se avete in progetto di visitare la città di Roma in futuro xx.
